Risk assessment and mitigation strategies are important aspects of application deployment for most larger companies and enterprises. The ability to formalize risk scenarios and mitigation strategies is key for the deployment of large-scale application infrastructure. Currently, due to lack of appropriate layering of blockchain infrastructure, operational security issues are difficult to mitigate since dApp deployments are highly dependent on specific L1 blockchains. Coinweb's blockchain agnostic layer makes dApp deployments independent of individual blockchains, and formalised procedures to mitigate critical events in underlying chains can be developed and implemented. Additionally, information integrity can be strengthened above what single blockchains can provide by using redundant embeddings over a chosen set of blockchains.
